Kibaki Succession, Jimmy Forgets Antidote Of Uhuru-Gideon Project

THE 2012 RACE is already taking shape as Jimmy Kibaki promises political dawn yet on the flip side Wananchi risk drowning in the ocean of Monarchy Rule otherwise dubbed ‘Royal Family Style’

With Mutito legislator Kiema Kilonzo and political activist Tony Gachoka on the coaching bench, Kibaki’s boy is already on political springboard in preparation for Othaya mantle and more important become Kenyans Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

As a political beginner, Jimmy the ‘youth’ is already working on country’s powerhouse who scoops over 69 per cent of Kenyas population. By mobilizing the youths sing his tune, he is undoubtedly taking a logical move as he clears the thorny path to the top office.

Taking Kenyans for a ride has been the usual game-- the youths are a stepping stone to political offices…

The ambitious Jimmy is however forgetting the antidote of the project candidate Uhuru Kenyatta who from the moon Moi imposed to Kenyans. But in twist of events, Kenyans sought second liberation.

The rise and fall of Gideon Moi is yet another political dwarf who even his constituents nipped his bud leaving his ODM counterpart Sammy Mwaita free political air space.

As intrigues and counter intrigues take center stage in the political arena, Kenyans are recording the unfolding history as political succession shapes political opinion.

Unfortunately, the Wananchi are on the receiving end bearing the brat of political re-alignments while the political class share the spoils.

Uhuru Kenyatta tried his hand but Kenyas turned him a blind eye while Gideon Moi who was the envisioned ‘Project’ wobbled in the battle field.

What is your take on Jimmy’s move in succeed his father who some say he is the youths darling?

  13. As a Kenyan in the Diaspora, one who has contributed to economic growth in Kenya via remittances, I feel that if a candidate is qualified to do the job, let them run for office. Africa is the last frontier of investment as it stands today. Foreign companies, Chinese, American, Saudi are all making efforts to get going while the going is good.

We are not interested in politics for politics sake. We truly want to develop our nation for the sake of our children and their children.

Ask Jimmy how he will represent Kenya and the Kenyan Diaspora in its quest for scientific, technological, social and industrial development for the country?

  15. My Opinion on Mama Shujaa take,

I salute you comment particularly when you give us the gist of global trends on investments. The global recession is already felt locally but not as much as in the Western world.

The Arab world is exempted the financial crunch but the continent Africa should settle down socially and political to explore investments and economical realization before bulk of Western crises trickles down to our backyard.

For Jimmy, things are not Mteremko as he thinks, he should have learned from Uhuru Kenyatta’s slump when he rushed to politics before orienting himself to the Wnanchi.

Where has Jimmy been all this time, what youth projects has he set up?

On the flip side, he could be the 3rd force to deliver Kenyans to prosperity.

It is time Kenyans realize what exactly the want. Politicians are prone to imposing change slogans to voters with attached strings and pre-set agendas.

For an overt change to occur: The Masses should feel the need for Change.

  17. I think he should ask Moi on how things work, can't Jimmy learn from the Uhuru project, he should even ask Uhuru who ate the bitter roots.

Can God help Kenyans see beyond political gratifications.

  18. Kenya is still on that village mentality. The chief's son becomes the chief. The witchdoctor's son becomes the next witchdoctor. I think leadership should always be on merit; it is not a birth right.
If Jimmy is qualified, let him show it. If not, then we find somebody else. Lakini, we all know that we are still heavily influenced by tribe. In addition, those who have benefitted from the shortcomings of the past would like the status quo to continue, for fear of a witch-hunt if a radically different thinker was in charge.
